Friendly place with a wide variety of food for everyone (waffles and pancakes). The Mayan coffee was very good. Fernanda was very nice to us and spoke good English. Best breakfast we have had here so far.
Finding great food on a trip is already lucky — but meeting a restaurant owner who treats you like a friend? That’s even better. He was so warm and kind, helped us with directions, and chatted with us like old friends. In a touristy place like this, it really felt like home.
The beef in this restaurant is charcoal-grilled and heated, which is very distinctive, and the owner is very gentlemanly and hospitable! After dinner, we also sent me a glass of wine to drink, and asked about our itinerary, which gave us very important advice! I hope to see him again next time! Thank you!

Absolutely the BEST food in all of Playa del Carmen ... and even all of Cancun!!! Every dish from the appetizers to the main courses are culinary masterpieces by their chef, all with the freshest ingredients! Cannot compare their dishes to anything else in the area. We make a point of getting there for an early dinner by 5:30pm, as they are not open late. The steak & shrimp tacos are loaded full and savory! The barbacoa tacos are stacked high and come with the most delicious dipping sauce! The trilogy tacos are equally amazing with chicken, steak and shrimp, each with their own unique flavor combination. We cannot rave enough about this place!! Looking forward to coming back!!
